New: MSL type FKVF

Photo 1:

The photo shows a special model of a displacement pipe, diameter 1.2m. Measuring 1.25m in height, the diameter tapers in a conical shape to 20cm. This custom shuttering was used for a bridge construction project in Trier, with six elements supplied measuring 2.38m in height and four measuring 2.47m in height.

The photo shows a construction project in Saarlouis. More than 40 large FKVF trapezoidal-profile foundation external shuttering systems and FKV internal boilers were supplied for this project. As is very visible from the photo, the shuttering was anchored from the outside and then concreted whilst freestanding.

The photo shows FS 2001 light corrugated-profile foundation external shuttering, which has proven itself over many years of use. The advantage of this system is that it can initially be erected without a foundation wall, with the reinforcement subsequently provided without hindrance in a second process. The second foundation wall is then installed and closed from above using U brackets. Measuring 3.4m in length, at a height of 1m the elements can even be easily carried by a single person.

The photo shows FKVF trapezoidal-profile foundation external shuttering measuring 7m x 7m and at a height of 1.4m. The advantage of this shuttering is its extremely short installation time. Once the reinforcement was constructed, spacers were fixed to the outside of the reinforcement and the four-part external shuttering was then arranged from the outside. In the corner area the shuttering was joined using self-tapping screws, which are of course available from MSL along with a corresponding screw bit. Once the shuttering was filled from outside, the foundations were concreted in a single step.

The photo shows MSL’s expanded metal construction joint system, type AF 1.5, in a special model with a variety of factory-made holes for completing reinforcement.

The photo shows MSL displacement pipes supplied for a bridge construction project in Wiesbaden. The pipes had a diameter of 1.8m and measured 8m in length. The train in the background clearly shows the size of the MSL displacement pipes.

The photo shows the assembly of MSL round corrugated-profile shaft shuttering. The large-diameter shuttering was supplied as circle segments and assembled into round shaft shuttering on the construction site.
