MSL tubes of type FKV 2020 are usually produced with an expanded metal thickness of 1.5 mm. The tube is primarily used as an interior tube. The advantage here is the optimum bond of the expanded metal with the concrete. The tube is extremely lightweight and still very stable. Because of the opening width of the expanded metal this tube version should not be used when applying fluid concrete.
